Rooting Oxalis Plant in Glass Ball Jar

Rooting Oxalis Plant in Glass Ball Jar is now available on my Etsy Store.
This sketchbook painting was drawn first with fountain pen as a line drawing. I added watercolor using an analogous color scheme of greens and yellows. This is part of the series of morning sketches created using The Color Scheme Game. Image Size: 4.75 inches by 7.5 inches matted to 11" x 14", unframed. Click here to purchase.

I love this, Chris. Both the drawing and the color scheme. I don't know, it's just so cheerful and maybe kind of restful (is that the analogous color scheme, perhaps?).

I often find analogous color schemes somewhat soothing and pleasantly peaceful. There's nothing jarring or startling about them. I also find it somewhat meditative to paint them. Glad you like them.
